Yongcheon Shin wins second prize and aucience prize at Van Wassenaer Competition 2016

Baroque oboist Yongcheon Shin has won second prize and the audience prize at the international Van Wassenaer Competition 2016.

He was accompanied by the early music ensemble Radio Antiqua.
Yongcheon Shin studied with Alfredo Bernardini at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where he graduated from the bachelor’s degree programme in 2012. In 2014 he graduated from the master’s degree programme with the top mark ‘Excellent’.
