The graduation project 'Marcy Houses' of alumnus Hans Maarten Wikkerink received an honorable mention in the international competition New York Affordable Housing Challenge', organized by Beebreeders and New York Build 2017 expo.

From more than 250 entries there were 9 winners selected. Six submitted projects received honorable mentions, including the Marcy Houses project of alumnus Hans Maarten Wikkerink. Hans Maarten Wikkerink (36) lives and works in New York. In 2016 he graduated from the Master in Architecture of the Academy of Architecture. Previously he received a nomination with his graduation project for Archiprix NL 2017, the prestigious award for graduating talent of the Dutch design schools. Archiprix NL will be presented in June at the former dome prison in Haarlem.
