With the utmost sorrow we must inform you that we have learned that our fellow student Emile Witmer has died following a motor accident in Italy on August 8 2017. This has come as a great shock to all of us.
 
Emile started his studies as a student in the JJC program of the Conservatorium in 2011 and started his first year of the Bachelor in the Jazz Drums Department in 2013. He had just finished an exchange program with the Accademia Nazionale del Jazz in Siena. We knew Emile as a very gifted musician and a very warm and positive personality. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
 
As soon as we have more information about the funeral, we will let you know.
