Pianists Jurn Tjoa and Yang Yang Cai, and baritone Joris van Baar have been chosen as Laureates of the Classic Young Masters programme during the ‘Meesterproef 2017’ concert on November 19th.

Yang Yang Chai, who studies with Jan Wijn in the second year of the bachelor programme, was awarded the title ‘Classic Young Master’, which means that she will receive an individual two-year coaching programme tailored to her musical development.
Jurn Tjoa, who studies with Frank Peters in the second year of the bachelor programme, and Joris, who studies with Sasja Hunnego in the third year of the bachelor programme, are eligible for the group programme, which includes coaching, workshops and opportunities to give concerts.

Classic Young Masters is a coaching programme for young musical talents. Six candidates are chosen from auditions to present themselves during the ‘Meesterproef’ concert.
