Countertenor Cameron Shahbazi has won a special prize at the 37th International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition, hosted in J?rmala, Latvia. The special prize includes an engagement with the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden in London, and is awarded by their Jette Parker Young Artist Program.
The International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition is a competition for young opera singers. This year there were 147 participants from all over the world.
Cameron studies with Sasja Hunnego in the master’s degree programme in Classical Voice.
