The MAAT Saxophone Quartet has won first prize in the category ‘chamber music’ at the Concurso de Jovens Musicos in Porto (Portugal).

The members of MAAT Saxophone Quartet are Daniel Ferreira Sousa Lourenço, soprano saxophone; Catarina Alexandra Faria Gomes, alto saxophone; Pedro Jorge Castro e Silva, tenor saxophone, and Ana Mafalda Costa Oliveira, baritone saxophone. They all study with Arno Bornkamp at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
