Guitarist Tim Beattie has won second prize at the Uppsala International Guitar Competition 'Young Stars' in Sweden. So far this has been a very successful year for the fourth-year bachelor student: earlier this year he won first prize at the Brussels International Guitar Competition and second prize and the audience prize at the Hamilton International Guitar Competition 2018.
