Maria Milstein and Noa Wildschut nominated for the Edison Classic Audience Prize 2018

Violinist Maria Milstein (1985) has been nominated for the Edison Classic Audience Prize 2018. Her CD La Sonate de Vinteuil, which she recorded with pianist Nathalia Milstein, features works by Pierné, Hahn, Saint-Saëns en Debussy.
Maria graduated from the master’s degree programme in violin at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2010 and is now teacher of violin as a principal subject at the CvA.

Violinist Noa Wildschut (2001) has also been nominated for the Edison Classic Audience Prize 2018. Her debut album Mozart features the Violin Concerto no. 5 KV 219, the Adagio in E, KV 261 and the Violin Sonata in B flat, KV 454, which she recorded with pianist Yoram Ish-Hurwitz and the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra conducted by Gordan Nikolic.
Noa studied at the Sweelinck Academy for Young Talents with Coosje Wijzenbeek, and now studies in the first year of the bachelor’s degree programme at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
