Competition successes for Sweelinck Academy students

Sweelinck Academy students have been very  successful at the Britten Competition for Cello and Viola. 

Isaac Lottman (15) won first prize in category 2 (13-15 years of age) of the Cello Competition. Hannah Sohn (17) photo) won first prize in category 3 (16-18 years of age). Both Isaac and Hannah study with Monique Heidema. Joshua Hassler-Forest (12), student with Maarten Mostert, won an incentive prize in category 1 categorie 1 (10-12 years of age).

Elin Haver (15) won second prize in category 2 (15-18 years of age) of the Viola Competition. Ida Weidner (17) won an incentive prize in this category. Both Elin and Ida study with Judith Wijzenbeek.

The Sweelinck Academy is the Conservatorium van Amsterdam’s national study programme for exceptionally gifted children.
