Sylvia Huang wins Audience Prize at Queen Elisabeth Competition

Violinist Sylvia Huang has won the Canvas-Klara Audience Prize, an amount of 2,500 euros, at the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels. Sylvia was one of twelve violinists to reach the final of this competition, one of the most demanding competitions in the world. She performed Dvorák’s Violin concert in a minor op. 53, and the mandatory work Fidl, which was especially written for the competition by the Finnish composer Kimmo Hakola. 
Sylvia studies with Liviu Prunaru at the  Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
