Damiano Pascarelli awarded Rogier van Otterloo Award

Damiano Pascarelli has been awarded the Rogier van Otterloo Award 2019. The award consists of a composition commission for Jong Metropole and an amount of € 5,000. 
Damiano studies arranging in the jazz master programme at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. He has made arrangements for several European orchestras and collaborates regularly with the Metropole Orkest. 

The Rogier van Otterloo Award is awarded every year to the most promising young composer, arranger, or conductor, to be put towards further development in the field of classical and easy listening music. CvA alumnus Tijn Wybenga won the award last year.
