Another audition success! Martijn Boom, classical percussion student in the master’s degree programme, has won the audition for the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. Earlier this year he graduated cum laude from the bachelor’s degree programme at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
 
Martijn was prizewinner at the Prinses Christina Competition in 2013 and 2015; in 2015 he won second prize and the press prize at the national final. He has been a member of the Netherlands Youth Orchestra and toured with the Netherlands Student Orchestra.
