Save energy during Warm Sweater Day on 7 February

Published on

The Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK) is making an effort to reduce its impact on the environment by limiting the use of the buildings and facilities as much as possible. For this reason, the AHK is participating in the national energy saving campaign Warm Sweater Day (Warmetruiendag) on Friday 7 February. The temperature in the buildings will be reduced by two degrees to 18ÂșC. Students and staff members will come to the AHK in a warm sweater and energy and C02 will, therefore, be saved.*

By posting their warm sweater photo on Twitter and/or Instagram with the hashtags #ahktrui #warmetruiendag, students and staff can win a prize. Organic soup will be served in the canteens.

Warm Sweater Day is organised by the AHK Sustainability Platform.
