Prizes for young talents at Netherlands Violin Competition

Tess Verweij (13) has won first prize at the Netherlands Violin Competition in the category 'Iordens B' (13 and 14 years of age). Mara Mostert (15) (photo) won second prize in thecategory 'Davina van Wely' (14-17 years of age). Alice van Binsbergen (16) won the Bartholomeus Award in this category. 

Mara, Alice en Tess all study at the Sweelinck Academy, the Conservatorium van Amsterdam's national study programme for exceptionally gifted young musicians.
