This week a new paper has been published by Dirk Oudes and Sven Stremke, part of the research group High-Density Energy Landscapes at the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture. Anticipating landscape transformation for energy transition, they identified lessons learned by analyzing three large-scale landscape projects. The projects are Room for the River Nijmegen-Lent (NL), Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (London, UK) and Freshkills Park (New York, USA). The research focused on landscape quality and the role of design, governments and participation.
