Sasha Witteveen wins Britten Double Bass Competition

The Conservatorium van Amsterdam congratulates Sasha Witteveen (2003) on winning the very first Britten Double Bass Competition. The jury was amazed by her performance. ‘Sasha is a virtuoso. She has a natural sound with many different characters. She presents herself in a professional way and the interaction with her pianist was wonderful. We will be hearing more from her in the future.’

Sasha studies with Olivier Thiery, Felix Lashmar and Ricardo Neto in the preparatory programme at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
