On Sunday September 27 CvA alumna Elisabeth Hetherington (voice) won the Dutch Classical Talent final in TivoliVredenburg, Utrecht. Elisabeth Hetherington wins a prize of €10.000. The Audience Award went to Ramon van Engelenhoven (piano), also a CvA alumn.

The jury about Elisabeth Hetherington: “A fearless and powerful personality. Perfect technique and breath-taking presentation”. The final concert in TivoliVredenburg was featured in the radio show Avondconcert on NPO Radio 4. The following finalists presented themselves to jury and audience: Duo Ebano, Elisabeth Hetherington and Ramon van Engelenhoven. The audience was asked to vote for the Audience Award and chose Ramon van Engelenhoven as their favorite. He wins a concert at TivoliVredenburg.

Elisabeth Hetherington received her master's degree Voice Early Music from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2018. Ramon van Engelenhoven received his Classical Piano bachelor degree in 2017 and his master's degree in 2019.
