Loes Rusch teacher of classical music history at the Jazz Department

The next teacher we warmly welcome to the Jazz Department is Dr. Loes Rusch. Dr. Loes Rusch is a teacher of classical music history at the Jazz Department. Additionally she is a researcher at both the Classical and Jazz Departments and co-developer of the bachelor’s research programme at the Jazz Department. 
Loes Rusch studied Musicology at the University of Amsterdam and baritone saxophone with Ferdinand Povel and Jasper Blom at the CvA Jazz Department. She obtained her doctorate in 2016 with a cultural-historical research project on jazz and improvised music in the Netherlands.
