The Aviv Noam Quartet has won the Dutch Jazz Competition 2020. The audience prize of the Sena Performers Muziekproductiefonds was awarded to the Tijs Klaassen Quintet. The members of both ensembles are alumni of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam's Jazz Department.

Founded in 1999, the Dutch Jazz Competition (DJC) is a national jazz competition for young top talents. The DJC offers these talented musicians the opportunity to present themselves to a larger (international) audience through prizes which aim to stimulate and further their career.
