What does a meaningful digital encounter between two people look like? You will experience this in Edda & Avan. We bring the digital and physical body closer together,' says scenographer Katharina Wegmann.

What will your audience see in Edda & Avan?
‘In the performance you follow Edda, a girl who has locked herself up at home and no longer has any physical contact. Her room has become her world. But even in a room, a whole new world can emerge. Edda dives into a digital world and meets Avan. Together they discover their surroundings and themselves.’

What makes your performance a must-see?
‘In this performance we connect many different new technologies with each other, such as virtual reality (VR) and motion capture. This is how we investigate: what could a digital meeting between two people look like? You get to follow Edda in a very intimate way. She makes new connections, and discovers herself and her body in a new way. We bring the digital and physical body closer together.'
