Several CvA students have won prizes at the Britten Viola Competition and the Britten Cello Competition 2021. 

Francisca Galante (17) (photo) won first prize in category II (15-18 years of age) at the Viola Competition. Francisca studies with Francien Schatborn in the bachelor’s degree programme.
Elin Haver (18) was awarded second prize in this category, and Jytte Balm (15) third prize. Elin and Jytte both study with Judith Wijzenbeek at the Sweelinck Academy, the young talents programme of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

Isaac Lottman (17), student in the preparatory programme, won second prize in category III (16-18 years of age). The incentive prize in this category was awarded to Jertil Oláh (18), who studies with Monique Heidema at the Sweelinck Academy.
