Saxophonist Daniel Ferreira has won third prize at the Lions European Music Competition (LEMC) in Thessaloniki (Greece). The objective of the competition is to encourage talented young European musicians.

Daniel Ferreira studies with Arno Bornkamp at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. He is soprano saxophonist in the successful and prize-winning MAAT Saxophone Quartet.
