Sedna Heitzman (2000) has won the seventh National Viola Competition on 27 November 2021. She played Paul Hindemiths Der Schwanendreher in the final, accompanied by the CvA Wind Ensemble conducted by Bas Pollard. Anuschka Cidlinsky (1996) won second prize and Giulia Wechsler (1995) third prize. Sedna Heitzman will give a prize-winner's concert on 2 December at 12.30h at the Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ.
