Daniel Scott wins Royal Over-Seas League section final

Recorder player Daniel Scott became the first section final winner of the ROSL Annual Music Competition, taking home £5,000 and claiming the first of four spots in the Gold Medal Final, which this year will take place at Wigmore Hall, London.

In a packed Princess Alexandra Hall Scott delighted the audience with a programme combining contemporary and early music. At the end of the evening the jury chose him as the winner of the Solo Wind, Brass & Percussion section final.

Daniel Scott  completed his master studies in recorder at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2021, where he studied under Jorge Isaac.
