Composer Primo Ish-Hurwitz has won a joint first prize at the international Alba Rosa Viëtor Composition Competition with his composition Listen. The other winner was the Argentinian composer Gérman José Mercado. 

Listen was performed by Laetitia Gerards, soprano; Dana Zemtsov, viola; Ella van Poucke, cello; Lars Wouters van den Oudenweijer, clarinet, and Anna Fedorova, piano. In writing the song text, Primo was assisted by dramaturge Carel Alphenaar. The concert was broadcast on Sunday 20 February on Radio 4 and can be heard here.
