Violinist Stephanie van Duijn has also gained a place as an academician with the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra after a successful audition. Stephanie studies violin in the master programme.

Since 2012, the academy of the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra | Netherlands Chamber Orchestra has offered a number of young musicians the chance to gain a year's experience in the orchestras on the stage of The Concertgebouw and in the orchestra pit of The National Opera. They participate as full members of the orchestra in productions with top conductors, soloists and, of course, the orchestra's own musicians. The talents also gain experience in educational projects, chamber music concerts and receive audition training.
