Cheuk Hin Keith Ng has won second prize at the renowned Tromp Percussion Competition. Xiaohui (Jason) Chen won third prize, and also the Willem Vos Award for best interpretation of a work written by a Dutch composer. Keith studies classical percussion in the third year of the bachelor’s degree programme; Jason is a first-year master’s student.
The members of the jury were jury Arnold Marinissen (chair), Michael Burritt, EmilKuyumcuyan , Mark Pekarsky, Bart Quartier, Emmanuel Séjourné, Ruwen Yang, Yi-Ping Yang and Xiong Zhou.
