Lucie Horsch has won the Classicnl Edison Klassiek Audience Prize with her album Origins. With Origins, Lucie explores the connection between the recorder and folk music. The result is a surprising mix of musical styles rarely combined on a single album, including works by Astor Piazzolla and Béla Bartók, improvisations with kora and jazz.
Lucie received her diploma in recorder cum laude from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. She is currently studying fortepiano and early music singing at the CvA.
