Ensemble dall’acqua has won the Förderpreis Alte Musik in Saarbrücken, a prestigious prize for young ensembles specialising in historically informed performance practice. The members of Ensemble dall'acqua are CvA alumnus Antonio Pedrosa, organ and basso continuo, and students Anna Špelinová, Vicente Romero, traverso, and Hanna Voss, baroque bassoon. Anna en Vicente are the last students to have studied with traverso teacher Marten Root. After having taught at the CvA for 29 years, Marten retired on 25 September.
