The SJDA Research Group Turns Two!
This month marks the second anniversary of the Social Justice & Diversity in the Arts (SJDA) Research Group! Over the past two years, this research group has been actively engaged in projects and research focused on how we can navigate artistic practices in socially just ways. From creating inclusive spaces for dance students to uncovering wisdom in Black and migrant barbershops, establishing a protest choir, developing educational modules, and understanding gentrification from the perspective of migrant communities—the work of SJDA is transforming art education and our society.
