In the upcoming academic year Orlando Ceder will follow up Gillian Moore as an Artist in Residence at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Orlando is a singer, arranger, musical entrepreneur and educator in Amsterdam Zuidoost. He works at the intersection of music, education and cultural connections. He focuses on building and strengthening bridges between different cultural worlds, especially on the relationship between the district of Amsterdam Zuidoost and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. On 12 May during CvA Changemakers Gillian and Orlando will talk about Orlando’s artistic and educational vision, and how his residency can contribute to new perspectives on music education inside and outside the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
