Rens Rutten, master's student in classical percussion, won the finals of Dutch Classical Talent 2025 on June 1 with his Kāna Percussion Trio. The DCT Award amounts to €10,000, to be put towards the further development of the musicians' career.
'The Kāna Percussion Trio has created an admirable social programme with a beautiful structure and a subtle but clear message,' said the jury. 'There is drive, precision and a lot of energy in their playing.'

Dutch Classical Talent Tour & Award is an 18-month programme that supports the development of young musicians. It is intended for talented musicians up to the age of 28 (for singers up to 30) who are studying or have graduated from a Dutch conservatoire.
