Scholarships and grants for international students

As an institution for higher education officially recognized by the Dutch government, the Amsterdam University of the Arts participates in several scholarship programmes offered by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Union.

At this moment, all scholarship programmes are meant to support international students with non-EU nationalities who want to study at the AHK.

Netherlands Fellowship Programme
The NFP offers support for citizens from more than 50 countries to study a master's programme in the Netherlands. A selection of AHK’s master’s programmes is eligible to receive candidates for this scholarship programme. Read more.

Orange Tulip Scholarship Programme
Several master’s programmes of the AHK participate in the bilateral scholarship programme between the Netherlands and countries as Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico and others.

Holland Scholarship
The newly launched scholarship programme by the Dutch government offers scholarships of € 5.000 to candidates from outside the EER countries to study in the Netherlands for a fulltime bachelor or master programme. The AHK participates in this new programme with a limited number of ten scholarships. Read more.

AHK Talent Grant
AHK’s own bursary programme that aims to help students with non-EU nationality in their tuition fee. The bursary is granted on basis of financial need. Read more.
