Scholarships and grants for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA)

As an institution for higher education officially recognized by the Dutch government, the Amsterdam University of the Arts participates in several scholarship programmes offered by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Almost all scholarships and grant programmes do not offer 'full scholarships'. Prospectives and current students who like to find additional funding to finance their study are kindly requested to contact the student counsellor of the academy where they are enrolled for possibilities of private funds.

At this moment, all listed scholarship programmes are meant to support international students with non-EU nationalities who want to study at the AHK. Students with a nationality from the European Union, please check this page for information on funding.
