Our Researchers

The research team consists of teacher-researchers within the AHK. These are primarily educators from the visual arts programmes (Breitner Academy), dance and theatre (Academy of Theatre and Dance), music (Conservatorium van Amsterdam), and the Master’s in Arts Education. They conduct practice-based research into arts education.

The research outcomes are presented and published, and are directly applied in education. Often, these results are used both within and beyond the AHK.
