Arts Beyond Ableism is a collaboration between the ATD Lectorate and the Research Group Arts Education, aimed at fostering more inclusive arts education. On Saturday, 1 February, the third event within this project, Dance Beyond Ableism, took place at the Academy of Theatre and Dance. This event, a partnership between Theatre Group Domino Leiden, Stichting ReDiscoverMe, and the ATD Dance Teacher Department, brought together various movement practices through presentations and workshops, celebrating the power of gestures—with and without words.

As part of Arts Beyond Ableism, Dance Beyond Ableism was co-funded by the Thematic Collaboration Programme (TCP) of the Amsterdam University of the Arts.
