This conference focused primarily on five studies of cultural diversity and its relationship with educational practice in art teacher training courses. These studies were carried out by members of the knowledge network (teaching staff at the AHK) belonging to be arts education research group. An informed panel chair led discussions in collaboration with the teacher-researcher concerned. The conference saw an exchange of knowledge, opinions and productive ideas aimed at the advancement of cultural diversity in teacher training programmes at the AHK on the subjects of art and design, theatre, dance and music.
