Symposium on the limits to cohesion
On Friday 15 May 2009, Timon Hagen and Fianne Konings presented their booklet Grenzen aan samenhang (Limits to Cohesion) containing the results of their research on arts subjects in the first years of secondary education. Over the course of their research, Hagen and Konings visited seven schools in Amsterdam and the surrounding area in the period that the basisvorming (basic education) system was being replaced with the nieuwe onderbouw (new lower secondary) system in 2006.
