On the Connection Between Art and Technology in Education and Leisure
The Technology ♡ Art publication explores how art and technology are intertwined and how these connections can be harnessed in education, leisure activities, and social issues. Technology and digitalisation have drastically changed our lives in recent years. The line between online and offline has blurred. Without fully understanding its implications, we are increasingly living in a digital society. This affects every aspect of our lives—from work and education to social interactions and healthcare.
It forces us to think critically and constantly be aware of our actions. This is also reflected in arts education and practice. What impact does the digital society have on cultural education and artistic practice? How are new technological developments being applied in art? And how is art used to reflect on these developments?
This publication outlines trends based on desk research, events, and conversations with experts who have long worked at the intersection of art and technology. It also details what is needed to leverage the connection between art and technology in education, leisure, and social issues.
