CASE (Centre for Arts & Sciences Education)

CASE (Centre for Arts & Sciences Education) is a national transdisciplinary centre for educational innovation in the Netherlands. The increasing complexity of technological, social (diversity and inclusion) and ecological issues demands resilient citizens and professionals that can look beyond their own discipline. CASE therefore works along two thematic research lines: educational innovation on (1) the intersection of arts, technology and science and (2) social engagement. CASE covers the entire learning path from primary-, secondary, vocational and higher education. CASE’s professors and researchers are based in 6 Dutch Universities of Applied Sciences and Vocational Education. CASE activities consist of transdisciplinary practice-based research projects, knowledge exchange and networking, development of educational tools and training courses for teachers.
