"Combining ephemeral architecture with heritage studies and practice"

I am an architect who once had aspirations to be a visual artist, became a scenographer as a way of intertwining my designing skills with art but somehow I ended up designing corporate events. Once I reached my 40s I decided it was time to head towards more meaningful and inspiring things so I moved to the Netherlands to study and pursue a carrier in the cultural heritage field.

Envision new professional possibilities
It is an exciting privilege to be part of the Arts & Society Programme. I see it not only as an opportunity to explore the social component of our practices but also as a valuable opportunity for reflections and insights that could only be fomented in a multidisciplinary team. My hope is that this hybrid experience (academic and professional) will help me envision new professional possibilities, also hybrid, where I can combine my expertise in ephemeral architecture with the recently acquired set of skills in heritage studies and practice.
