Use the latest technologies at the VRAcademy
Interdisciplinary Collaboration within the AHK
The VRAcademy is an initiative by the Netherlands Film Academy (Visual Effects & Immersive Media) and was founded in 2017 with the goal of fostering innovation and cross-disciplinary creation across all academies within the AHK.
Here, you can break free from traditional structures and explore what these technologies mean for your own field. Whether through workshops or collaborations in the VRSpace, you’ll work alongside students from other disciplines and push the boundaries of what is possible in art and technology. The VRAcademy is all about discovering how these media can give rise to new art forms and their potential to transform arts education itself.
Collaboration with Immersive Media
With the recent launch of the four-year Immersive Media (IM) programme at the Film Academy, the VRAcademy is set to offer even more workshops and collaborative projects. This programme will increasingly feature VRAcademy partnerships, encouraging you to participate in interdisciplinary projects within the VRSpace.
