19-01 | Translate your idea into a clear concept | Dutch
What will you learn during this evening?
An idea is buzzing around your head. How will you put that into words? How do you turn it into something tangible you can present to others? It all starts with these questions: who is your audience and what is your motivation? Why do you want to turn this idea into reality? Tonight, you will learn to articulate your ideas in a systematic way. To commit your concept to paper. The result? A concrete foundation for your project plan. A story that reaches the people you want to work with.
About Simone Hogendijk

Simone Hogendijk
Simone Hogendijk (she/her) is the expert of the evening. She works as artistic director, coach, mentor, dramaturge, writer, programme maker, consultant, quartermaster and guest lecturer. Until March 2025, she was artistic director of Over het IJ. Her main area of expertise lies within talent development, setting up and artistically supervising trajectories and programmes for new theatre makers and introducing makers to the arts field. Among other things, she does this within a new development & advice platform for (location) theatre, in which she aims to preserve the heritage of Over het IJ: talent development and the different ways of (facilitating) working with a location in the urban context. Through makers meetings, workshops, coaching/mentoring and searching ‘together with and from the demand of the makers’ for organizational forms that are better suited to their desired working practice and the current time of financial scarcity and the disappearance of development and playing venues.
