To reset the Microsoft Authenticator, there are two options:
Do you still have access to your old phone?
If you still have access to your old phone, you can transfer the Microsoft Authenticator yourself.
Follow these steps:
Check whether Microsoft Authenticator is installed on your new phone, and download it if necessary.
Open Microsoft Authenticator on your old phone and log in.
Tap the three dots in the top-right corner (on iPhone) or open the hamburger menu in the top-left corner (on Android).
Turn on the backup option. You will need to be signed in with your account.
Now open Microsoft Authenticator on your new phone.
Tap “Get Started” and then “Recover from Backup.”
Sign in with your account. The backup will now be restored.
Remove the account from the old phone.
Check whether you can log in. If this doesn’t work, contact the IT Servicedesk. They can remove the link with your old device. The next time you log in to MyAHK, you will automatically be prompted to re-link the app.
Another option is to go directly to the Microsoft Authenticator website. This is a Microsoft site where you can log in with your AHK account. After logging in, click “Add sign-in method.” You can then choose either the authenticator app or an SMS code and go through the linking process again. Once the new phone is linked, you can remove the old phone from the list.
Do you NO LONGER have ACCESS to your old phone?
If you no longer have access to your old phone, contact the IT Servicedesk. They can remove the link with your old device. The next time you log in to MyAHK, you will automatically be prompted to re-link the app.
Eduroam is available across all of the AHK campus. Simply log in with your AHK account to connect. Once connected, you can use Eduroam at thousands of institutions in over 100 countries. Follow the linked instructions for campus Wi‑Fi setup.
Upload your photo through the Cards Online service portal. Use your AHK credentials:
Username: initial.lastname (e.g., j.jansen)
Password: your MyAHK password used at account activation
If you are logged in, go to ‘Edit my data’. There you can upload your photo. The Central Student Administration (CSa) will then approve the photo.
Are you a new student?
After activating your AHK account, you will automatically receive an invitation from Cardsonline by email to upload your photo. However, it may take up to 24 hours before you receive this email. If it takes longer, please contact servicedesk@ahk.nl.
Go to the AHK Print Portal and log in with your AHK account information. There, you'll find a dashboard where you can upload and print your documents. To retrieve your printouts from the printer, you'll need your PIN. You can also find this on the dashboard or retrieve it via a QR code on the printer.
If you have an AHK computer, you can print directly from the program you're working in. However, you'll still need your PIN to retrieve your printouts.
