The Mapping of the body-territory Manual is a manual that contains the methodology used during the Easter school on Gentrification in 2024. This methodology comes from indigenous feminism from Latin America.

What can you find in it?
The story of how we used the mapping methodology as well as pictures from the Easter school. Also, the history of the term “body-territory” and what this implies. A brief description of our research ethics and the guides used for the methodology. Within this manual there is a background and a description of the methodology to map the body-territory for those who are interested in trying it out.

Why reading it?
If you are interested on creative approaches to collective work that centers personal experiences of oppression and resistance. IF you want to know what the concept of “body-territory” is, where does it originate and how can it be useful to think the ways in which people are connected to the territories they inhabit (the city, neighborhood, community…). To learn about the research we did during the Easter school on gentrification and understand how the methodology was used in this context.
