With the opening of the academic year 2010-2011 the research group Art Practice and Development published the first edition of ON AIR. This publication, to appear twice a year, focuses on the Artists in Residence at the Amsterdam University of the Arts.

The first edition includes contributions on, among others, Steve Paxton and Deborah Hay (attached to de Theaterschool) and Terry Barrett (Academy of Fine Art in Education).

With ON AIRthe research group not only wants to show the latest developments of the Artist in Residence programme to a larger community, but also contribute to relevant discussions in the arts and in the field.
