The Tijs Klaassen Quintet and the Guy Salamon Group have won the final of Keep an Eye The Records. Both bands will receive € 10.000,- to be put towards the production of an album.

The Tijs Klaassen Quintet was formed by Maurijn van der Does, alto sax; Matthias van den Brande, tenor sax; Floris Kappeyne, piano & synth; Wouter Kühne, drums, and Tijs Klaassen, double bass. The members of the de Guy Salamon Group are Ian Cleaver, trumpet; Alistair Payne, trumpet; Jose Soares, alto sax; Lucas Martinez, tenor sax; Teis Semey, guitar; Youngwoo Lee, piano; William Barrett, double bass, and Guy Salamon, drums.

Keep an Eye The Records is a band competition offering three fully paid album productions amounting to € 10.000,-. each. This year there were seven finalists, selected from no less than 47 entries.
