Working at the Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK) means working in an informal working atmosphere, where you can develop yourself and your talents.

At the AHK, you can (continue to) develop yourself. Take part in a training course, make use of coaching, or participate in a project team or working group. The AHK offers training courses, both internally and externally. We will make the time and budget available. You will make the plans for your professional development, together with your supervisor, on an annual basis.

We believe a good work-life balance is important. From the moment of entry into employment, you will receive employability hours (duurzame inzetbaarheidsuren, DI-uren), which you can use to ensure this balance. You can use them, for example, for caregiving duties or for work experience outside the AHK. In addition, we have a range of wellness activities, including yoga, pilates and sport. In this way, we hope to contribute to your employability – both now and in the future – in a positive way.
