Mezzo-soprano Maria Warenberg (1995) has won the Miluška Duffková Foundation Scholarship of € 2000,-. Maria studies with Sasja Hunnego in the third year of the bachelor's degree programme at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. The selection committee, consisting of singer and pedagogue Wout Oosterkamp, ??opera singer Leonie Schoon and opera director Jan Bouws awarded her the scholarship unanimously.

The Miluška Duffková Foundation was founded by the soprano Miluška Duffková. Every year the Foundation offers a scholarship of € 2000,- to a soprano under 25, to be put towards further studies.
