From the 28th of February until the 5th of March 2023, Groningen was the center of the guitar world once more. During the Groningen Guitar Festival & Competition, guitarists, luthiers, and guitar lovers gathered together to join Masterclasses, Concerts, and different Competitions. One of those contests was the Groningen International Guitar Competition. CvA-student Michele Reali won the third prize in this Competition, where the jury consisted of Campbell Diamond, Adriano Del Sal, Kristina Vårlid, Liying Zhu, Carlotta Dalia, Remco de Haan, and Carlo Marchione. Michele is in his first year of Master, and studies with Gabriel Bianco. Congratulations, Michele!
